I didn't have any antivirus installed in my system other than Windows Defender, but I had a couple of "optimizers", so I uninstalled them, then I ran again the installation DVD I burned a DVD with the ISO file and when I got the message "Do you want to download the updates from Microsoft" I unchecked the option and let the process run Thank you so much for taking the time to help us NanoBear!!!!

Hey NanoBear I too have a Dell M XPS, it wouldn't let me install the driver, even though I have the GeForce card it said the following error message "The folder you specified doesn't contain a compatible software driver for your device. If the folder contains a driver, make sure it is designed to work with Windows for 32 - bit systems" So now what do I do?
